Special Terms and Conditions due to COVID-19.
In lieu of the unprecedented times we are now experiencing we have issued the below terms and conditions to assist with current and new bookings. First and foremost we do encourage for all bookings to be postponed rather than being cancelled, please contact our reservations to assist with these postponements.
The below terms are valid whilst,
- South Africa remains under lockdown
- Travel bans in place from or too, both the country of origin and / or South Africa
- Flight interruption or cancellations by airlines or Governments
Postponements of existing bookings :
For all existing bookings for which we have received a deposit or full payment which would travel up and until 31st of December 2020, may be amended once up to 15 months in the future. Amended bookings which fall in a season where higher rates are applicable, will be required to pay the difference from the original booking once the new rates has been issued. In the event that guests do not travel within 15 months of the original arrival date, the standard terms and conditions will apply.
Cancellation of existing bookings :
Cancellation s will only be accepted in writing subject to the above conditions for a waiver of cancellation fees to be considered. Refunds of payments will be subject to an administration / transaction fee of maximum 5% to cover any costs for example banking fees etc.
Status of bookings :
All bookings that will travel with in the year 2020 will remain provisional up to 21 days prior to arrival by which time we require a confirmation or cancellation. On confirmation an invoice will be raised and sent to you. Please note that this invoice must be paid soonest and funds needs to reach us ( clear in our bank account ) no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
In the event that any of the above lockdown, travel ban or flight interruption are re-introduced within the 30 days prior to travel we will revert to the Covid- 19 Cancellation or Postponement terms.
In the event that guests cancel services at own accord our standard cancellation policy will apply as per our rate sheets.
Please note the above is a special concession in lieu of current circumstances and do not override our general Terms and Conditions as per our rate sheets if the above criteria is not met.
